Gene like most of the other supermodified drivers who raced in the south during the
1950s, '60s, and '70s have taken their final checkered flag. But to those who remember them,
they are still very much alive, and this website is dedicated to them.
NOTE: Volume Two, "Supermodifieds and Other Early Racers" is in the process of being written.
If you know of an old time driver or car owner that raced in the 1940s, 50s, or 60s, please contact
